Wow!!!!

Two months ago you would not have been able to convince me that teaching would be the most time consuming job ever, I mean, it's 8:00 - 3:00 right? WRONG!! Wow! I have been putting in crazy hours getting there at 6:30 and leaving sometimes at 7:00 at night, not to mention weekends. I have loved every minute of it though. I have to say that I am so blessed to be where I am because I have an amazing mentor and such a supportive and helpful grade level. This last week I have finally felt like my head is above water. I almost have my schedule memorized and feel like I am learning my students. All of this will be even more enjoyable on September 20th (PAYDAY). I am not in teaching for the money, obviously, but I am kind of starting to feel like a volunteer :)
